The Great Northern Ontario Road Show will journey to Thunder Bay, the most populous city in Northwestern Ontario! This historic area rests at the edge of Lake Superior, next to "The Sleeping Giant!" We’re excited to bring this experience to Thunder Bay, and you don’t want to miss out on this stop on the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow!

The Thunder Bay Historical Museum Society was created in 1908 to preserve and interpret the history of Northwestern Ontario. It is the Society’s mandate to serve both the city and the district to preserve the history of the entire region. We operate as a museum, an archives, and a historical society and offers a wide range of programs, exhibits, publications, and collections.
